Brought my Cs-880 to work the other day, my boss wanted to see it, I think half the young guys never even saw a cassette tape before ! Cleaned the switches and knobs the night before to eliminate any static.
Tape still sounds a little dull to me, it's not the tape ( although I recorded it back in 1985 !, TDK MA-R 90), I replaced the head a long time ago with a good used one, adjusted the little screw that moves the head back and forth to where the audio sounded the best, but still doesn't sound the way it should. Radio sounds fine.
Anyone know of a source for the proper length antennas? The ones I have on it now are slightly too long and hit the handle.
Got home and back in the closet it went.
Thanks
