I am getting a battery door sent to me right now for my wheely. My original door was in good shape but when I went to push the tabs down to remove it, the tabs snapped like a saltine cracker. :-/ .

With my new door, is there any way to moisten up the plastic so it won't be so brittle where it needs to be flexible? Maybe I just had a dry door......

Don't worry about that ;-) I sent you a qualiy piece! The reasons these break are easy

1- The owner only pressed one tab and pulled/pryed it off
and
2-the owner put too much pressure on one tab and not enough on the other
or
3- they just got mad and broke it

lay a smooth think layer -- about 1/16 inch of "GOOP" on the inside of the tab --
---the side you cant see -
-that should give it some strength --
but -- nothing will make the plastic less brittle --

then --never force anything -
and never be in a hurry
