Brand new Walkman

Spotted these in the clothes store Urban Outfitters...not only do they sell vinyl and portable record players but they now sell Walkmen and not the mp3 converter type, the put your headphones on and dance down the street type

They're actually quite nicely made, though they should be for £60

This, I find, is very interesting so I checked out IMIXIT for further details. I think it looks quite nice but the direction the case opens to insert a tape seems a little odd, the hinge is on the short side. I can't imagine many kids of today getting hold of one of these and mopping up all the old cassettes though - thankfully.

Urban Outfitters is an interesting retailer. They've always got interesting stuff. I first saw one of those Lasonic i931s in one of those stores in Denmark.

It's a cool store with some very funky stuff...obviously aimed more at my daughter's age than mine lol. It's also a bit pricey for me
