scott i don't want to name the company he works for because you never know if he could get into trouble for saving the boxes which i don't think is the case but better safe than sorry ,i do know he loves to play chess and poker so you have that much in common ,he could care less about boom boxes but he know's i love them so he grabs them for me when he can .

I wonder if the trash in my town is this nice. :hmmm:
We have laws against going through peoples trash, seems pretty weird but they want to protect the recycling cans from being pillaged.

Hey Floyd that's awesome! Do they all work? Wish I had a buddy like that!

I still have the Panny you gave me. I've kept it even though the cassette deck heads and the radio is shot. It still plays cassette tapes but the sound is warbley. Still an awesome piece of history. I can still connect an mp3 player or cd player up to it. :-D

hi, yes they all are fully working and the rx 5500 just wont die huh :lol: i'm glad you still have it ,it was just too nice to throw away even if all it is ,is an i pod dock still is good for something :yes: .

Good finds everyone, I have a Pannie DT-610 I found on the side of the road covered in white paint.

That's my only trash find.

If you see my Sharp GF-777 in the trash please get it for me. I left it by the dumpster a few years ago, before I knew what they were worth. :sad: :sadno: Maybe it is still there. :-/ :sad:

two of these akai in a week
no arron's trash is already at my house years ago
here in perth we have rubish clean ups twice a year for general and twice a year for tree stuff
so i just drive around and pick up all the good stuff
i mite show you all the disco robbo
