boxed lasonic 931

hey guys...here is my lasonic 931 located this one from e bay a while ago.what relly got me about this one was the original plastic covering all of the face was still in tact.well being a boxed unit didnt mean it did not have problems..when i recieved this unit the tuner was staticy also the auto reverse on top deck would not function properly it would humm and jammed up..well i brought this over to my tech and he took apart the tape mechinisim and got it function properly...as far as the tuner it took him a wlile but i have to say this guy is unbeliveable..he truly made this radio a100% fully functional unit..i didnt post this until it was complete also what really made this box was fatdogs amazing labels it relly put this one over the top..A few days ago i had recieved a crazy offer from a co worker who came to my house.at first i was gonna give it to him then i really had 2nd thoughts about it...well as you can tell i didn't part with it i would like to share this with you all.....

Boy, I remember when I bought mine (new) back in 1986. I wish I had kept the cardboard box too. Dibs on the cardboard and manuals. Can you make copies of the mauals at a Kinkos? or similar place? I'd happily pay you for your trouble. Lemme know.

I got an original 931 manual floatin around here somewhere I could mail ya...just gotta find it Came in the battery compartment of my old 931 but I sold it 5 years ago and forgot to include the manual. oops

Surely a worth while trade because yours is way old and doesn't even have an iPod dock built in!

Whoa do you know if it's for the single or dual antenna. I have a copied manual for the 1st edition dual antenna but have have been searching for the 2nd edition single one to go with my original 2nd edition. I would make a PDF file for others to have as well

I remember when 1st edition TRC-931's had pictures of white versions on the cardboard box...
Was mad disappointed to open it & find a black box inside... Quickly got over it tho! Ha!

HAH! Found it! Lets see here.... The picture on the front cover shows a 931 with dual antenna . I'm taking it to work to scan it in on monday, then off to Fuzz if he wants it.
