Great review, nice work!

These look pretty good and other members seem to like them. They seem to have some features that beat out the Lasonic i931 like the LED meters, the record feature. Of course it's not as big as the Lasonic, but it still seems like a nice radio.

Cool you were playing RATT and DOKKEN!

Thanks for the thumbs up on my review! :-) So you're a metal head too? I love 80's metal! All these great bands are still rockin'.
So the general consensus is that it is a nice boombox for the price. I just wonder how long it will last before it takes a dive.

Hi Smith133, I love 80's Metal. I still have all my cassettes from back in the day! I dig it all RATT, TRIUMPH, VAN HALEN, MOTLEY CRUE, SCORPIONS, JUDAS PRIEST. All good stuff.

As for your new radio, if you take care of it, like anything, it will last a long time!

Nice review. If I had some sort of iPod brand mp3 I would need to have this box.

Could a lens be installed to make the iPod Touch screen look bigger?

Ratt always makes me smile. )

I believe you can put any MP3 player in there, it just won't control it, but you can plug it in????

Am I correct on that Smith133?

Yes, you can plug any mp3 player into it, or even a portable cd player or walkman. Thanks everyone for the feedback on my review. :-D

Nice review, thanks! Good tunes too.

I would have to see the country of manufacture before I bought one though. I've just had too many problems with china-made products.

I believe it was made in China. All Chinese made electronics are not created equal. Some are cheapy cheap, and others like the Ipod are quality made. I remember a time when electronics were made in Japan, and that was when we had real high quality electronics. 20+ years ago. :-)
