Your Boombox have EQ.
Why has 5 buttons for sound: pop, classic, rock, jazz, loudness?
I don't understand ? This is typical for the oldest models without EQ.
Are this buttons are active or not?
Here is 4 models with EQ and BT, but without these 5 buttons:

Is there 2 versions of this boombox?

Yes they are active and even in the models without the buttons the actual controls are still there under decals. I just don't understand Lasonics reasoning

Good looking boomer for being new. I wish they were more reliable. Maybe they worked out some quirks the original i931's had .

I know right.........
Bill brought his over this summer and I really liked it.
I wasn't really crazy about his all black "vader" model.
But I liked the white one white the chrome accents.
It sounds pretty good and its really really LOUD!!!!!!
I'll probably use it outside next summer quite a bit.
