Nice!! I wouldn't waste your money on the belts though (unless its too late) the tape deck on this model usually doesn't work due to broken plastic in the lift mechanism.Starfire said:Yeah $46 shipped, was sketchy when I got it but deox made a world of difference, waiting on some belts now.
Still a little funky on AC power sometimes it will turn on and just pop over and over like lower power and other times it's fine.
I am impressed by the build quality, way better then the toshiba I got.

I love Blockbusters as well. Great sound, great line in box, lightweight and the proper look.
Put some deoxit on the little switch in the AC plug socket and work the switch till clean. That might fix your popping.Starfire said:Yeah $46 shipped, was sketchy when I got it but deox made a world of difference, waiting on some belts now.

I have never owned a Blockbuster, but sure would love to have one sitting next to my SCR-8oldskool69 said:I used to have it and it's twin the Realistic SCR-8. Very good score and pleasing sound for it's size and build is an understatement.![]()

Now only busted cheapies from the Thrifts.Starfire said:Every one I've bought before has had some paint on it somewhere. I mean are all the painters of the world buying up boomboxes!
