Boomboxes with alarms

I tried searching, but I was curious of what are all the known boomers with theft alarms?

I was showing my buddy my M90 I just got, he swears he had one just like it, but his had an alarm, and I'm pretty sure none of these do, so I wondered what he's confusing his with.

That's it. Either can you point me to a list, or simply add them to this thread.

I know the big Conions have them, and I think there are a few others, but no M90's I've ever heard of.
I haven't set off the alarm on my C-100 in years - it's freakin' scary!

Here are a few:

Conion C-126

I'm sure there are other brands but Conion was the most noted brand that used them on several models. The most popular being the C-100F, C126F and the TC-999. The M90 never had an alarm feature

The Intersound J1-747S Super Jumbo has one (I really like saying that full name! )

But I think other J1 AKA's that have the clock option have the alarm deleted.

Also the Helix HX-4700 has an alarm

Yes, all the Wheely AKA's have them. My Dynasty HT-959 has one.

One thing I have been wanting to do, is modify the alarm system so that when it goes off, the siren sounds for 30 second to a minute and then resets it's self. This way, you could literally set one in the front room and one in the back room and if an intruder enters your house, the alarms would go off and then (presumably he runs away and not steals both radios) the alarms would then reset themselves.

They way they work now, once they go off, they go off INFINITELY and they are LOUD!

The Eversonic AKA of the Bolt Box has one, as well as the Nippon AKA, but only the FS-2440, not the FS-2420.

Interesting. I'll have to show him some pics. I think the C126 and C100 have to be the closest in resembling the M90, even though none of us here could mistake them.

I was only aware of the C100 and Wheely's having them, but knew there had to be more. Cool cool.

Maybe we could talk about this in more detail in a tech thread, on how to mod the alarm to reset after 10, 20 or 30 seconds.
