In a bizzare twist to the ongoing nuclear crisis, the prime minister has announced a new plan to solve the crisis.

"our nuclear engineers have determined that the best way to stop the radiation leakage at Fukushima is to plug the holes with Coby boomboxes, These coby machines have a unique property that allows them to blend in well with nuclear waste. They will effectively plug the leakage for at least 500 years.""

Residents within a hundred mile radius are urged to turn in their Coby boomboxes for the greater benefit of mankind.

If that were true, the folks in Fukushima would be out of luck. All Coby boomboxes that are known to exist are in the collections of Ira and Ramon,

By the way, not many reqponses to this thread. As a bit of background, the inspiration came from actual news articles. My made up story is actually not far off from the truth!

yes, sad indeed. For our members buying boomboxes from Japan, it also raises another potential issue: How far from the site did this boombox come from, and will it pick up contamination along the way to its destination?
