cant comment on the value but i would see it worth a few bucks and these are nice boxes that pound and its big , a hair smaller than a trc 931.

Korean made boxes right ?
Comparable to an JVC M70 ?

Im hoping to get it depending on price and condition.

i would not compare it to an m70 , but the pqr 9962 stands on its own and can hold its own = bass machine with good highs.

there are aka's of this box made in korea .

it's not cheaply made ,actually pretty damn tough, and loud.

I have to agree....sweet looking radio. I have never seen or heard one in person, but sure like the design.

I havent got it yet. This weekend is the estate sale.

The Goldstar Model is TSR 801. I had on back in 84-85ish. It cost $100 back then. Solidly made, good bass and could crank volume wise. They did have some power switch problems if I remember right? Overall a nice solid (heavy) box. I was talking to a childhood friend last month and they asked me if I remembered carrying it around when I was on crutches!
