Boombox Dreams

Not the first time I have had a dream about one of my radios. The first one was my M70 after Superduper repaired the tone board alps sliders. I dreamt someone who wasn't familiar went to adjust the volume and turned the slider caps instead of sliding them. When I went up to it, they were a mangled mess and when I tried to straighten them, they broke off.

End result was I woke up mad before realizing it was a dream. Was still a little mad

Last night I dreamt I had my Silver C100 (not Gold thankfully) sitting in the front yard while I was outside doing something. I went in for a moment and heard something outside. I came back to the door to see it was pouring rain....and there's my C100 out in it. I flew out and brought it in but it obviously it wasn't acting right. The power light was dim and it wouldn't do s**t! In my dream I let it dry. No go. I took it apart to clean and repair. Somehow, I accidentally ended up getting the tuner string all unwound. The rest of the damn dream was me fiddling around with that and never got it...only making things worse. Ended in a tangled mess with knots and tuner spring all FUBAR.

End result was I woke up mad before realizing it was a dream. Still a little annoyed

Well there ya go. Hoping for a positive one in the future...

Nightmares.

I had a dream earlier this year where I went to a giant thrift store with a friend of mine and ended up seeing at least a dozen different interesting boomboxes, in a lot of detail. Some minis, some midsizers, and a couple jumbos. There were a couple of them branded as Wisek, it was written with the same stylized font as a business nearby with a similar name. Another box was sort of a hybrid containing elements from an RX-5110, and a HUGE Chinese AKA branded as Xoao, with tiny pot adjustments on the inside of the battery compartment for who-knows-what, haha. I was going to buy it but the place started shutting off the lights 3 minutes before they closed so I said forget it lol.

It's amazing the details our brains put into things. Apparently our brains retain all of our life experiences. In my dream, every detail was there inside the radio. Right down to the tiny spring on the main tuner wheel inside.

I had a dream about a giant lasonic that looked like a cross between a Trc 931 and a gf 777 but way bigger.
