I made it home safe and sound. Drove a little over 800 miles to pick up a hardtop for a friend who lives in Ohio. He will pick it up from me when he visits in June. While I was in San Diego I stopped at a nursery and picked up 32 Japanese Privots for a privacy hedge. I paid $360 for them while in AZ they charge $4375 for them. Crazy. Trip was uneventful although I am sure I may have killed 4 of the plants from windburn that didn't get covered completely with the burlap. Its funny to see Californians stopped at the side of the road to take pics in the snow. There was some snow left over from yesterdays storm in the higher elevations just outside of San Diego.
