But on friday i have it seen myself! :'-(

Was on the charity flea.
On the side of the flea is a "dump" area where not sold things get stored, till the dumper comes.
In the area 2 stupid kids throwing around old electronics and making big noise.
Did not looked much at them ( great fail ).

When i came out of the flea storage the manager of the flea was shouting angry.
The kids have smashed several TVs and the broken glass may harm the truck tyres. :annoyed:
Kids ran away.

I took a short look at the trash, because sometimes there is an useable part (antenna, knob,....)

Hm, what is (was) that? :hmmm:

Argh! This have been a very rare HITACHI :-O :sadno: :sad:
Broken to 1000 pieces

took a few wreck parts home for a last reconstruction of this beauty one :-/

Anybody owns that box?
At least a few useable parts may be on it.
Like the batterydoor.... :blush:

So much for recycling :annoyed: all countries are aware of the state of the planet.
Why dont they save all these old boxes,why do they have smash everything :huh:

its a shame that all dumps are not on the internet,email address so they can be made aware the value of vitage boombox,they could create ebay account or have a monthly sale,good for recycling,good for the planet,good for vintage electrical enthusiasts.
