While at the beach on the fourth a 72 year old man came over to give my C-100 a proper up close inspection. He told me that there was a parade in Willamamtic Connecticut that was started in the 80’s but they couldn’t get a band to play so they had people bring their boomboxes to play music. Now it’s over 30 years old and they still get out there each year with the boomboxes! Unfortunately, I missed it this year but next year I’ll be proudly representing the boombox nation!

That's really cool. All I've managed to do with mine is make people mad. It would feel like a dream blasting it in front of an audience with them cheering me on..even if it is band music...lol

Man that is sweet! Willimantic needs us! I would definitely enjoy this, but all I saw was 1 boombox throughout the whole video, I'd love to make it out there for the 4th one day
