so who was it that lied and cheated and scheemed and begged
and made promises they could never ever honor just to snatch
Shanes amazing in the wild find Bombeat 40 from him ????





IT WAS ME :blush:

Truth is Shane and i did work out a deal that we where both very happy with :yes:

When Shane first sent me a picture of the Toshiba to my phone i was like 'no... freekin...
way !'

I hope Shane doesnt mind me saying but when we spoke on the phone he clearly knew
he had a nice boombox on his hands, he just didnt realise how nice, or how rare it was.
So i took the oppurtunity to offer him $50 for it as quick as i could :lol: :lol:

Not true of course... i was very happy for him and told him to post it on the forum and
that he would soon see how special this find was :yes:
I couldnt wait to see the response :-D

When he mentioned about maybe selling it, well then i was keen to make a deal !

This has to be the first boombox i ever felt bad about buying :blush: and i asked
Shane a number of times to make sure he was happy to let this rare box go.

Once i was certain, the deal was done :yes:

I want to say thankyou to Shane. He is a man of his word and a great guy and has offered
up an amazing addition to my collection :thumbsup:

That's come up super nice AZA.

Congratulations on your purchase, and congratulations to Shane for finding the BomBeat 40.

How did he find it? I need some pointers, because lately I've just been finding eggs.

It gives us mere mortal collectors hope that we will find one out there, somewhere.

I think you should sell it to next member now (me :lol: ) just to keep this beauty on the top of the posts :lol: .
Mate im really glad for you (im glad for every new box)
And i ve made this :drool: :drool: :drool: in the Shane tread now im making 1000x :drool: .

the sound is extremely good -- :yes:

but --when using the grand m90 as the 1 piece standard comparo -
then its highs and bass are just 85-90 % as good

real toss up there on listening preference -

the s90 has slightly better//cleaner highs
the 40 has a slightly deeper bass
