These are my three Aka's of the same box plus a fourth one that sacrificed some parts internal and external so the others could live! Sorry about the jerky camera handling.

The Kasuga's (square grills were found in the UK) the Bolt box from Australia and the international from Germany.

Wow what a trio, look superb, I love the led vu's on these and seeing 3 going at once is cool.

Ok might as well say "dibs" and congrats, they are stunning.

As Northerner said, they look good playing together and I was wondering about Bolts in the square grills like JustCruisin, I think they'd look very good indeed.

Lovely trio Rory. As you already know, I have the Kasuga Bolt Box I got from the US. What you don't know is that I recently got an aka of your square grill Kasuga. I found it in the wild and it's branded Inno-Hit. It's a very good looking and sounding box. But I just love the grills and the woofer prosthetic apparatus of yout International, it reminds me of the evergreen Sanyo M 9935.

Btw Merry (belated) Christmas and Happy (in time) New Year buddy! :-)

Merry Xmas to you too Sal.
Another aka? Wow! Just when I thought the wikiboombox page had a lot listed with (14) you find another!

I guess it's a possiblity to fit bolts on the square Kasuga. There was a member here selling retro fit ones. The speaker size on these is unusual 6.5 inches or so.

Thank you for your comments.
The bolt boxes and their aka's are fairly simple boxes in that they have no music search or anything but they are flashy and the design is of a traditional one piece boombox configuration. They crank nice and loudly and do have a loudness switch and a stereowide setting. They are also pretty easy to work on. Access to the deck and belt changing couldn't be any easier.
Here are a couple of pics for sound comparison. Smaller than a Rising but bigger than an M70.

Yep basic boxes but so nice! :-) For the records, my aka of your square grills Kasuga is an Inno-Hit RR658. I would post pics if only I knew how to. I really get lost with the "My media" function: how to use it is way beyond my retro-analogic mind... :dunce:
