was thinking about blasterpunks awesome rare//beautiful jvc-rc 550 in SILVER

and -some posts we made --to determine if it was a 'real' factory model ??

now since then --a few of our boys have acquired some SERIOUS painting talents

like norm has mastered lettering - and melly and frank and OSS can paint the piss out of any box !!

right ???

so...............a new wave of thought
is that the silver 550 --could very well have been a sweet paint job

I honestly can't remember but there was an eBay link, perhaps when we were all still on stereo2go... Might've been an active or expired auction.

Pretty sure it was in europe as well from memory... but I can't recall any more details.

Actually, the 550 might be one of the easier boxes to paint as the silkscreening is all on the aluminum trim. The painted areas don't have silkscreening, does it?

That what I thought. What little lettering, if any, is far easier to reproduce than a whole boat load of graphics like on the M90.

I agree with the above but regardless the 550 is striking in silver...
