I wondered if it would work, and for US$13.43 shipped I thought I'd take a chance... :hmmm:

It arrived today and I'm happy to say it works... great! :thumbsup: :cool:

Playing my iPod Touch through it from 12 feet away sounds sweet! :-D It's about 10% quieter than if I plug the iPod in directly, but the convenience makes up for it! :yes:

So now you too can add Bluetooth to any bbox for less than the price of a Cadillac Margarita! http://www.dealextreme.com/p/bluetooth- ... black-8422 :w00t:

So it hooks up via BT and you hook it up to your radios inputs? If that's how it's going down then please post up the link for it so I can get one. :thumbsup:

Yep, it has a stereo-mini input; you supply the -to-mini adaptor/cable. For my Amsen, I used an RCA-to-mini (both Male) cable to connect it. I'm designing a simpler more streamlined connector, but until then the cable works. :breakdance:
I did post the DealExtreme link, but it got overtaken by the margarita! :lol:

Here's "Working Day and Night" (R.I.P. 1-year MJ) blastcastin' from EQu on the iPod touch to the Amsen via the AVRCP! :thumbsup: :w00t:

I grabbed some adapters and connectors from RatShack to eliminate the cable I originally used (they cost more than the AVRCP! :thumbsdown: ). Once I get another right-angle adapter, the AVRCP will be parallel to the bbox instead of perpendicular. :cool: This is a proof-of-concept for the adapter I'm designing. ;-)

Here it is attached with some RadioShack connectors, while my iPod is blastcasting BDP's "My Philosophy" to it! :w00t:

I've attached it to all my boxes that have RCA AUX inputs and it works great! :thumbsup:

ML do you find that it decreases the volume from you iPhone? I received mine yesterday tested in my car and was decreased a little but noticeable.

I guesstimated it was about 10%; might be more or less. :hmmm:
I was rockin' it at a party on Sunday using EQu (a must for iPod blastcastin') and accidentally maxed out the volume when I put the iPod in my pocket. :-O It was loud - people started yelling at me to turn down the volume - so it gets loud enough for the hollerin' to start! :lol:
I ordered two for the wife; she loves 'em! :yes: (hates the blasters, though) :sad: :lol:

Update: been blastcastin' turntable from my laptop and DubSiren from my iPod through various boxes. It's a great way to share the music! :thumbsup:

Still working on the printable adapter... :hmmm:

Ok now I got mine. It works awesome. Now tell me where to get that connection stuff you got going on on the back of those radios and I'm good!
