anybody clever here --who is NOT norm ??

the ge has 2 speaker-out rca jacks -
the mission is to record from those jacks into an outboard tape deck -( with the usual rca input jacks)
here is my speaker to line converter ( i hope ) :
see the two female rca plugs at one terminal -
and the five wires from the other terminal-
so -- what goes where --and what else is required ?

This is a high to low converter Ira. This is used in the car audio world. I'm not sure off hand which is left/right but the solid color wire is positive (+) and the one with the solid color and black line in it is negative (-). For example: solid white to the red push terminal, solid white with black line on it to the black push terminal for left side and the same with the grey on the right side. The extra solid black wire is a chassis ground. You probably won't have to use this for what your trying to do. If your using it with a three piece radio that has push terminals then this will be easy to use but if its a headphone style output jack or some foreign output speaker wire this gets a little complicated to use. You'd have a go to Radio Shack and buy some connectors and start shredding them up to wire this little do hickkie up. Be careful Ira! Wire this up wrong on 30+ years radios could result in a burnt amplifier chip!! Good luck homie
