i was wondering if you guys would help me out again like you did with the blasters with turntables post i did a few days ago and list some blasters with good mics on them for recording stuff. i would like a box with built in mics i could just turn on and leave and record practices and shows with. thanks again.

To be honest, I think all blasters have built in mics, all of mine do.
Not the best sounding, I'd go with external mics, if you want a better recorded sound.

I have to agree, I don't think any built in mics are of high quality but most or all boxes have them. For higher quality recordings you probably should use external mics.

I have seen some old mono´s with detachable (but fix connected) mic´s.
But the quality of them is

Many stereo boomboxes have mic-holders on top (like the PHILIPS soundmachines).
Or you use some good mics they were sold for them.

Just want to show off my latest flea find.
2 PHILIPS hifi mics, original in case! :-)

Here on the super compo:

The radio is a PHILIPS D8734 "Double SoundMachine"
The mics are PHILIPS N8403.

Not able to tell any price.
That belongs where you located, the condition of the machine, ......

If you look in this scan of another PHILIPS manual, you can see the mounting of the mics:
