Birthday car boot sale finds :-)

So it was my birthday yesterday and we has a nice trip to the seaside for fish and chips at Whitby But before we did we went to our usual car boot. In recent weeks I've come home with nothing, I mean literally nothing at all. So yesterday I bought some cool stuff, not boomboxes but stuff that fits very nicely in the boom room

Happy birthday for yesterday. I love the satellite wallbox. Funnily enough, I spent most of last Sunday evening fixing up a Hacker record player with a seized velocity trip (the bit that drops the record at the right time and moves the arm to the right position to drop) for friends who have a matching pair of AMI jukeboxes (one takes 7" records, the other is a '90s one that does CDs) and I definitely want a record playing jukebox for myself now, assuming they're not all as costly as the AMIs were.
My friends get many of their records and dead jukeboxes from a specialist shop not that far from your place, in Northallerton, but finding something on a car boot that the owner of that shop hadn't already grabbed is great work.

Yep I know the shop, its a few yards from one of the two offices I run...the place is owned by a nice bloke who's been around here for a good while.

Sadly it's not actually a jukebox lol, if it were it would be worth a bomb. Looks pretty realistic but it's actually a phone lol...still got some age to it though as the seller said they bought it 20/30 years ago.

The candy machine is a proper commercial machine, it's the Rolls Royce of candy machines and is made in Canada. All the chrome is solid chromed metal, not plastic. It's a heavy bit of kit.

Reckon all that chrome fits in nicely

Very retro...it's largely unchanged from the original 60's design

Cheers. Can't remember where the pacman came from but it was probably the car boot sale...locally there's only one decent sale per week during the summer but I usually go and find all sorts of junk lol
