My first thought was it looks like an AKA of the JVC DC-7 or something. But, then I realized it's a home stereo and not a boombox. I don't know anything about Binatone, but from past experience with similar units, the sound will probably be mediocre at best. Plus, the speaker cabinets are in rough shape.

If you wish to help out the cause, I would probably just donate the money you would have spent on the Binatone.

i only have a clockradio from BINATONE.
But a soundcomparo will not help you.

If you like it and for cheap, take it.
But remember the rampaged speaker.
Hope there is not more hidden damage.

ive got a binatone duplex boombox,the cassette motors say 1981 on them.
