Bestar RR1500 meets Lasonic TRC 975

The biggest difference is the price! I ve found the Bestar last week on ebay Germany. 31,-€ and it was mine I love the fake reel tapes .

In my opinion they dont sound good, arent well built (like all off those plastic bombers). They re just lookers. I cant understand the hype around the Lasonic TRC 975. For sure, it fits to every collection. But in every collection you can find much better sounding blasters. Maybe im wrong....but too me, the Lasonic TRC 931 is the best sounding and best looking boombox between all of those Master Blasters, J-1s, Unisefs, Crowns, Bestars etc.

They are just about the same size, but I think the Bestar is looks more like the 935, sort of.

I don't know about the sound differences between all of those models you spoke of (with the exception of the J-1 Super Jumbo - which is a lot louder but doesn't sound as good as... Still, to me, the J-1 is the best looking) but I'd take another 1st edition Lasonic TRC-931 over EVERY big black box.

Yeah Monolithic bro, you're right!!! They're almost identical twins!!! Mine has the graphics over the selector switches in white and red, and it was made by Riviera in 1988... But now... I don't know which one is the nice and which one is the evil twin! They're obviously both awesome right Blaster?

I had to change the original speakers and put in some 8" Earthquakes that ROCK!!!
