Yeah it doesn't have much of a vintage look.....But I bet it would look nice if you painted it blue behind the grills

You remember one time you told me that what drew you to these types of things when you were young were all the controls, bells and whistles? Well, this thing doesn't have it. In fact, it looks more like a clock-radio than a boombox. The plain truth of the matter is that to me, if I want great sound, I fire up the home stereo. Sound is important, sure, but what really draws and appeals to me is aesthetics and build quality and styling, etc. I can't live with crappy sound so it does have to sound decent. Beyond that, it's all about looks baby!

The price seems right for it. This blaster appeals to a lot of people because this was top pick at local hardware/radio shops back in the day.
