Which product do you use to polish tape doors & tuner glass?
I also need to polish my car's plastic headlight covers, and there is polish specifically made for that, so maybe the same product could pull double-duty :-D

One way is to polish the polycarbonate lens and remove the surface oxidation and scratches, but you may have to repeat it to maintain it. It is a temporary fix.

The best way is to get a UV Coating on it after cleaning the surface. Once you have the UV coated Headlight lens cover, that coating it will last for many years. Most cars made before 2003 had no UV Coating on the head light lens and that is why it looks all blurred. All new cars out in the market nowadays have the UV Protective Coating on it.

I remember seeing them refinished at the used car dealership with hand held UV cure lamps. Actually I work in the research area for coatings.

i can highly recommend Plast-X. It has worked wonders on many boxes. At first i wasn't impressed but i just wasn't putting enough elbow grease into it.

Thanks for the info, I always wondered why they turn yellow
My car is a 99, so it seems the better option for me would be to just buy some new aftermarket HID or projector light kits with entirely new housings.
