I need to paint the back case of one of my boxes because it is badly yellowed. I kind of want to do a custom thing and go darker than it's supposed to be like gunmetal or black. I think it would look better that way. I plan to use a spray can so what brand or type of paint works best? Also which finish looks the best on the rear case?

I use Duplicolor Graphite or Gun Metal Gray. 3-4 coats of paint and 2 coats of clear will do the trick.

Those are good colors.

But, make sure that each coat is lightly sprayed. Detail will be lost if you put too much paint on it. ;-)

...definitely spray very light and even coats. You will not get complete coverage until the 3-4 coats of paint. I have learned through trial and error, and painting a couple dozen radios, patience is very important.
