I have boombox that needs minor restore. First i need some good epoxy as 1 of the blue switches was broken off. Luckly when i opened the box the broken piece was in there. 2nd a good cleaner, i started using alcohol on the plastic and cassette buttons but doesnt seem to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated
TIA

Welcome aboard, elcanto! It might help us give you better advice if we knew which boombox you are trying to restore. There is no single "magic" cleaner for everything. Likewise, epoxy is not always the best option when repairing plastic.

I use rubbing alcohol as it does not affect plastics and can remove most sticky stuff and dirt and grime. I recommend using Crazy glue with a plastic primer to fix broken plastic.
