What's your opinions about this insanely priced Toshiba BB40 "gold model"

It's obvious the back side has been re-painted, due to the high gloss. The front seems to have been re-painted too, because you can see what looks like gray primer under the scuff marks in pics 5 and 10.
On whether it's a genuine G model, I think it probably is, because creating a fake one would require a lot of work. You would need to print custom green graphics for the tuner and meter plates, fabricate a red Toshiba badge and a MQJS badge, and move the "3 way speakers" badges down to the grills (and he didn't just glue them on. You can see in pic 4 that they're actually recessed into the grills).
But regardless of whether it's a real or fake G, it's obviously been repainted, and it's lame how that isn't mentioned in the auction. Buyer beware.
