What do you guys and gals use in the bathroom while taking a shower, shaving, applying makeup etc.....

I found out today while im not home my girl uses my Rising 20/20 to jam out to while she gets ready for work. :-/
I wasnt too thrilled about all the moisture it would come in contact to, while the bathroom was steamy from the shower, so I think my next box will be a dedicated bathroom box.

What do you guys use or recomend.(Pics Please!) I'd like something that sounds decent, probably a nice mini of sorts. Sharp QT series, Panasonic F series, waterproof??? A sansui would be cool but dont want to spend too much.
and if you have any for sale let me know. I want to keep my Rising in good shape for years to come! :-D

Im using one of those eggs everywhere were the old warriors can get damaged - sony zs-x1. I know it is an egg and dont have tape  but it take a lot of abuse with dignity . Ira's choice is better, but ill never put one of this beauties on the sand and watching some of my friends spilling beer on them  .

I have a aiwa ca-100 in the main bathroom. And a jvc rcm-60 in the basement bathroom. The ca-100 has speakers from an Sony FH-7, amazing bass.

I have my QT 27 but prefer to blast my big boomer from across the house (when the wife & kids are not around). ;-)

As strange as it is....I have often thought of starting this thread...

AND...Just like you, I worry about the moisture. But I will admit, I have used my Realistic SCR-8, my TRC-920, the Victor RC-838.

I would user a bigger radio, but I have a small bathroom!

I too have thought about a dedicated radio, but some of the little ones already mentioned don't have a line in. I have a small Panny, but again, no line in!

These Sony sport models would be just right
water resistant.
I seen many at the thrifts but never picked one up.

I would normally agree except that the models of these I've heard sound crappy which is why I've never snagged one.
Are there any decent sounding versions of these sony's? :hmmm:

Sanyo made a water resistant mini but I don't remember the model, they look pretty good but don't know how they sound.

The ZS-X1 is a newer model and I've seen lots of them at the thrifts, I was only referring to the old yellow mini boxes that Sony put out. When you talk about a bathroom box these funky flying saucer boxes take up to much space, the flat boxy style boomers work much better.

Sorry my bad. Just realized why i dont like it indoors. It is about the space which is taking. Some times some thing are so obvious but need to get told to realize em  . Thanks.
