bass canceling ???

very seriously -

have a good strong 3 piece set up -
only odd matter is the amp is 6 ohms //.speakers are 8 ohms
(should be no big deal)

anyway --
the bass mostly CANCELS !!! whan the balance is dead center :thumbsdown: :annoyed:

but - at any setting over 20 % to each side -
both speakers have VERY deep /strong bass

WHY ??????????????

make sure ira that both speakers are wired correctly postive with postive and negative with negative if all good then throw in the dumpster will ya :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

some old blind fart MISSED the big fat wide black stripe on one of the wires

Ira, go to the link below and read the "Standing Waves" section.

Basically, you are in a spot where the frequencies are canceling each other. That's my guess. It can happen at a certain volume or distance.
