Nice little pick up, Claret!

I've not had/heard one, but Paul Isolator got one a while back and really liked the sound out of her.
From memory it's no bass-king but the sound is super-clean!

Please review her up when she arrives.

Rock On.

Is this B&O box a made in Denmark or did they contract an Asian maker like other European brands .....Grundig , Philips, etc.?

The B & O is a minimilist design to the max.

i used one for 2 months when i worked in copenhagen, as the place i rented had one in the kitchen ;-)
it sounded clean, decent bass for the size, good dynamics when tuned into the local classical fm station... in fact, it reminded me of my sanyo m7790 :breakdance:
the only downside was the cassette part... the recordings i made off radio play back dull on my own 'boxes, so maybe the deck was badly set up?

Was it built in Denmark or Norway? B&O radios from the mid-60's were made by Tandberg out of Norway. Curious if this one might be too.

Definately Denmark.

There were a couple of early 80's "Beocenters"... 2100, 2200 and 2002 produced in Japan. Other than that everything was manufactured and hand assembled in Struer, Denmark.

Actually that's a lie. Made in Japan! (I have one and that is what the sticker on the bottom of it says!)

You're right

I just dug mine out and gave it to the missus as her "office radio" - and MIJ is on the bottom

It sounds great
