I picked up this Pioneer a while back and so far I like it. It's modern looking, has some cool functions, like built-in 4gb memory, USB port for flash drives, 3.5" led LCD screen, 2.1 40w speakers, 5.25" subwoofer, and a 5.25" passive radiator, can adjust tempo/pitch through Mixtrax, and for some reason it reminds me of the Nike Air Max container/shoebox from the movie Back to the Future II.
( I also have a old school JVC PC-X500, and it's awesome of course... Been looking for a PC-X1000 forever.. Lost out to one on eBay a while back and haven't seen one since.)7.%20Pioneer%20Steez%20Crew%20iPhone-iPod%20Dock%20for%20Dancers.jpg$(KGrHqZHJFUFJ6fwTHZJBSfVinBmK!--60_1.jpgpio-stzd10z.jpg

Yes,I have one of these too.
They sound very nice.
I got it from a member here.
I don't use it much so it is stored away in its original box.

Sure,I'll give her back to you Bill. She's still minty and maybe has a couple of hours play on it since I got it from you. I just never use it as much as I use my Altec Lansing IMT800 which I use all the time. Let me know I'll hook you up Bill…...

Just got one of these, brand new for $90 shipped.

Very good build quality (it's a Pioneer)........Rubber gaskets on each door. The heaviest battery door I've ever seen.

USB, Aux, iPod dock

5 speakers plus a passive radiator

I prefer the sound of this over the Kaboom and the Sharp GX-M10, even though those have more bass.

It's silly not to have a shoulder strap, though.

The prices on these have come WAY down. Reli, was the Steez in Las Vegas yours? I wanted to have a good look at it, but ran out of time. One thing I will say, I LOVE that color red. It looks anodized.

While on this subject, do you mind if we mention the new Steez T?
These are like $20 :hmmm: :hmmm: :hmmm: Anyone heard one?

That was the Sharp in Vegas. I didn't get this Pioneer till after Vegas.

That yellow one is one of the smaller, lower-powered models. I've never seen one in person.

I'm betting Pioneer lost a lot of money on this series because of the price drops. They targeted a very narrow market (dancers).

OH, wow, I guess I wasn't paying attention
I know Pioneer really tried to put some usable features in the Steez for dance crews, but like you said, very narrow market. But any music player is a narrow market unless your talking "Cell Phone Zombie" head phones. Speaking of, anyone have these? I would assume you can't advertise "Dubstep" headphones if they don't have CRUSHING BASS!

Yes I've had all three models of Steez. This one sounds like a typical iPod dock. Not too bad though for $20.00........I'd get it if I were you.

The brochure says the two cheaper models below the red one only have 2.5 watts per channel, with bass that only goes down to 100Hz instead of 50Hz, so they're probably the equivalent of an old-school mini, right?
