I just purchased a JVC RC-M70C for $42.00 and my prior unit was a JW model. I still have the chassis from the old model and was hoping there won't be fittment issues. So if anyone knows what the differences are I would appreciate any information that anyone has. So as soon as it arrives I will start the customization process to get my white M70 back. Thanks again for any info fellas....

the C just means it was the version sold for the Canadian market.
they're the same. shouldn't be any fitment concerns.

Only difference I know for sure is that the Canadian "C" version has single voltage, where the U.S. versions, like the "W" and "JW" are multivoltage. Power consumption, listed on the back nameplate, may be a little different, too, though that'll make no difference in the sound. Good luck!

...it popped up on ebay this morning and I sent him a lowball offer and he accepted so I bought it right away. The front glass is cracked but everything else works. But the guts from my white M70 are going inside so I just wanted the shell anyway...the extra parts will be a bonus!

...that's good to know. The guts from my JW are going in so luckily voltage won't be an issue...thanks for the info....
