We know that most of the Bolt Boxes have strap slots on top like the M70 and other JVCs, was there a strap offered with these blasters?

Tha Fuzz and I collaborated to come up with this one-off bolt themed strap for a bolt box and it turned out great!

I converted a guitar strap from a company in Chicago to make this beauty.....

That turned out beautifully. Joe, you have ounce again outdid yourself. Thank you Brother. I can't believe no members here have never posted a pic of an original strap. No pics on a Google search either. SOMEONE must have at least a pic of one.

That's beautiful Joe. Perfect look and color. So, it was a guitar strap, but will it safely hold the load of the box with batteries???

It would be good to get the 'click in' type for these boxes. They're great outdoor machines.

This is an interesting topic. I have sold my JVC M70 straps to guys for Bolt Boxes because it is the same slot design on the top of the box. Here's the kicker, I have the Kasuga version bolt box and the M70 straps do not click in, seems that the hardware doesn't push into the box far enough to click. Now Adams bolt box aka and Jimmy's bolt box aka the M70 hardware DOES clip in to their's......

My M70 hardware is designed for 1.5" wide strap like the original JVC ones. This guitar strap is 2" wide and doesn't fit the hardware I have anyway so I have to make it a universal jhook style and include the 2 handle mount straps. Either way, this bolt pattern is a rad design and this was the only way to get this pattern. All the other bolt straps I have seen are really ugly.

It really isn't a prototype, it is a one-time deal. The guitar straps alone are $35 each then they have to be converted and shipped again so by no means was this a cheap strap. There was only one place that had 1 in stock. Even the manufacturer didn't have any.

Yes, this strap will easily hold the bolt box and full of batteries. I would guess the strength of this style clip is about 100# before it bends open and fails. My M70 straps/hardware have been tested over 200# with no failure.

Like everyone has stated, that Bolt Strap looks sick.

Bummer it's a one off. I use and LOVE my one off checkerboard strap. I am asked about it all the time. I like the fact that I will never see another balding, near fifty year old man with a bad back hobbling down the Venice boardwalk with a radio what is WAY to big for him with the same strap! That's important to me!

Thanks Joe!
