Don't know about that particular model, but if it's anything like my similar size Aiwa, it's a a pretty damn good sounding box.

Congratulations!

Isn't that the CS-660?

It sure is, I have one and for it's size with the DSL on has amazing bass, and sweet highs too.
One of my best sounding at low volume boxes.
Nice score

Ah, there it is... I have a model that looks like the one on the left, except it's loaded with extra switches and knobs on top.

Man, I swear nearly every .au collector has one of those lovely Aiwas now except me!

I need to remedy this situation!

Great score, Shane. Definitely one hell of a kick arse radio.

Yeah sorry Rocke, that is the one i passed up :'-( and then Shane beat me to it the following week

Both Shane and i passed on a few this week as well and we would be happy to buy for members but its
difficult to be sure on what someone will want. Dont want to buy them if no one else wants them

Nice score!!!!!

I've never heard that model Aiwa, but I can tell you that my TPR-950 is, by far, the box that gets the most regular dose of use. It sounds great and is efficient on batteries. Good deck, too. I also have an Aiwa component auto-reverse tape deck here that is nicely made, Aiwa made quality gear.

Contrats!
