I've got a mini off eBay but seller hasn't said anything about postage. Possibly can't be bothered with international shipping?
Anyone willing to receive it for me then get sent to me. New Zealand that is.

The USA has 50 states so by limiting to FL, only 1/50 of USA residents can be of assistance to you. Unless you are expecting the member to pick it up, which means local city residents too (since FL is the size of many countries), I would say it really makes minimal difference what state the member lives in if the Boombox will be shipped.

So, you've already won the auction?

The seller could edit his auction and activate Ebay's Global Shipping Program (GSP). There's really no downside for him. There's no customs forms to fill out...…..he simply needs to ship it to eBay in Kentucky. I sold a mini to someone in the UK, and shipping was only about $36 if I recall correctly.

Reli, I don’t think Ebay has a mechanism to allow you to ship anything using their services unless you sold it through Ebay. PayPal is different, you can ship anything, but they don’t have a global shipping program. Also, I think there’s more to the GSP than you know. The $36 is the cost to ship the item from your location to ebays global shipping center. There is additional cost (to buyer) that you aren’t aware of to forward to the final destination.

Yeah I was already including that in the total. It cost only about $15 to ship it to Ebay using FedEx, and then Ebay shipped it overseas. The total was somewhere between $35-40. It was by far the cheapest option. I think USPS would have cost $70.

Previously, I had been leery of that shipping program because I thought once I signed up I would need to use them every time. But that's not true. You're free to choose different shipping companies for each auction.

Hey peoples.
I may have jumped the gun on a help request.
The guy finally mailed me back overnight. 4days later. Said had been to post shop and sent new invoice. Should be on its way this week. Exciting!
Was my first buy from there, well I put a offer in and was accepted. Postage ended up being $85usd (silly NZD amount) but was expecting around that price any way.
Now the painful wait for arrival.

Yea not going to jinx myself with reveal until it's in my hand. Before or by September 2nd is a long wait. Arhhh
