Truth said and for all to know: I have been using stereo2go for 3 years now.In the process i lost all the data and posts (and some very important to me) i made in the past then got familiar with the new forum then i see a rise of walkman only fans and i also read about many members escaping to boomboxery,or making harsh comments about stereo2go or even well known members posting less and less.I have not been using boomboxery so much till now but i do not see another way in order to continue to collect and learn from experienced members.Ok we all like walkmans but its not a priority to me at this point.
With those words said i just hope forums like these will continue to exist without making it harder to us to find a way through this mess

I enjoy S2G but my roots are here on Boomboxery. This website is the most used on my computer. I come here so much....that all I have to do is type the letter B in my search engine and Boomboxery automatically pops up. Plus I have gotten to know people here and the compatibility has been great. I have so many posts and memories started on here that I hope that what happened on S2G never happens here. It's like stripping you of your street cred. You go from hero to zero and everyone goes back to a newbie with no status.

Thanks to websites like this, I have gained the experience and confidence to tackle very difficult jobs for a non technician. This has allowed me to enjoy the hobby because these vintage items are going to act the fool every now and then and it helps when you don't have to pay someone who doesn't care as much about your box as you to fix it. You can put your time in doing a good job because it means something to you.

God Bless both S2G and Boomboxery. Part of the reason I play the fark out of my rare vintage boxes without worry of breakage is because I have no doubt that if I need help, it can be found here. I don't live in fear. I play the darn thing and if it breaks it breaks...my boys here have got my back :-) I don't need or want a hand out...but every now and then its nice to get a hand up. I don't mind putting in the work so it's nice to know that there is a place where questions can be answered and parts can be obtained.

Seems like no one else in my immediate environment understands what my attraction is to these vintage radios. Here is the only place where my appreciation and determination to keep the past alive is tolerated. I've been here long enough to see a new comer log in and their very first post is "How much is this worth?". To some all that motivates them is money. No interest in the box, the history or the website. The box they have has no memories outside of "I think it's worth money to someone else".

For that reason I keep the door of opportunity open with both sites and appreciate everyone involved. Plus I've been known to help my fellow man when I can :-) Take care everyone

Yeah man, You nailed it on the head. Having/Loving these of radio's is one thing, but without the support group, there is no way to actually use them because they will break down.

I started this party on S2G, but haven't been an active member in a very long time. You wouldn't have a Mustang without a Camaro and you wouldn't have Lamborghini without Ferrari. Two sites are better than one. So I hope S2G power's through this hiccup and the Boombox side of the site will get the respect they deserve.
