Got recently this boombox from "Japan Only Party" - the Sanyo U4-W80 from 1987. I think it is quite unknown in Western world.
Has 5-band equalizer, double auto reverse and a surround function. Without additional surround speakers it is just a "Stereo Wide" function. It came in quite good shape, only needed new belts and small cleaning. Now it runs again and has a pleasant sound, of course no deep bass.
