I put a whole ton of work into this DISCO mod which is a Clairtone 7980. It's a great Canadian Radio company & this model is the AKA of the mighty & LOUD Conion C-100FF. This mod uses 4 separate LED controllers which have different settings & can be set to react to the music with each section having it's own set of controls & switches. They can be ganged together as one system or controlled separately. You can blend the different effects of each section together, using switches I custom installed on the side of the back cabinet panel which enable/disable remote control of each section of LEDs. On the two bottom corners of the front face, just below the bumper bars, are 2 gold Fender knobs, in each corner so you can adjust the sensitivity to the volume of the music. This allows you to blend the effects of the 4 sections in countless combinations & speeds etc,

I had finished the Disco Deathstar last year & in just the last 2 nights, I went through it again, with a test tape, adjusting speed & head alignment(azimuth) for both decks while changing the LED setup for the Mid & Tweeter sections. Tape 2 has no speed adjuster on the motor & runs at about 3035Hz instead of 3000Hz & deck 2 runs almost dead on at 2997-3004Hz after adjustments There are 2 videos(part 1 & 2) to show off the radio, the auto-reverse play for Tape 2 & Tape 1 so that you can see how good both decks sound, even in both directions for Tape 2. Anyone with a C-100 or AKA knows how hard it is to have clear, accurate sound in both directions for the auto-reverse deck. I think I achieved excellent results here. Check it out for yourselves.

Enjoy in HD(1080p/60fps)

Part1: Radio & both directions auto-reverse "Tape 2" playing 2 tracks

Part 2: Tape 1 playing 2 tracks & full disco MOD demo
