Hi Ira-Now here is one that has the power to move those boomers!
It's a 1966 Impala wagon wit the venerable 283 4 barrel!!
This thing rocks-I'm actually considering getting it!
I might not though-BUT the body really isn't that bad for 66'
I have a 66' caprice which has been in storage for 10 years.
Need to get that out this fall for sure!!

Ira-lots of room for the boomboxes.

Now I'll have to show you photos of my 1970' Kingswood Estate I had for a while.
Yes it had the 454 4 barrel and dual exaust.
Man that car was sick-I mean those poor Mustang GT's would come up agaist me while on the road and you should see there expressions when this thing just walks away-almost runs away!! Especially the 4.6's-no match!!
Photos coming soon-took it out to Yellowstone and Glacier park even. How about 18-19 on the freeway!! A/C would freeze you out-even found the am-fm stereo for this-body was rough though!! :-/
I missit,it would smok the tire with ease!
Have a super week-GB. :-) :-D  :-P

LOL! He's got a reserve higher than $810 on that POS. Granted, if you knew how to restore cars and had the money, it would make a kick-ass land barge. But...

a wagon with a big block, some conservative paint with widened stock wheels would be the ultimate sleeper

Hi Tony-That's exactly what I had, sold it about 8 years ago. Yes Ira it had the fake woodgrain sides and back!! I got to dig those photos out!!

Yeah,I probably won't buy that-the 283 4 barrel is somewhat rare but you have to go to all the work of putting the carpet in there and all the parts.
Actually a nice project for someone with some time and alittle money on thir hands.
These things are sweet when they're running nice and this engine will run forever!
BTW-did you see that it's a A/C car with all intact.Man this would be rad!.
It's all in the eye of the collector.

I had a friend with a blue and white 1966' Impala wagon just like this,ge this 283 2barrel 195hp.
it would go over 110 easily!
These are cool!
Ira-you have to get this!
Have a great one-GB.

Man Ira-I haven't seen a Pontiac Safari Wagon like forever!!
Now I've seen the Olds Vista Cruiser with the little top window but your right the Safari wagon is just downright rare!
I usually saw brown ones back in the day.
455 4 Barrel-that thing will moan!!
Ira man you crack me up!
I will dig out some of my station wagon photos but they may be photos and will have to be scanned buy my buddy-the ink is out(black) and my printer won't let me scan without ink!
I've had 3 wagons in my life my first car-1968' Impala 327 4 barrel.
1976' Chevrolet Caprice wagon 400 4 barrel. Yes -the window dissappeared into the roof and the door dissapeared undeneath, man that thing was the bomb!! Took it out to Glacier & Yellowstone to!!
Factory 8-track system that sounded great & 3rd. seat with smoking lights!!
The thing would cruise 90 all day! Vacumn gauge to.AND YES WOODGRAIN SIDES & WHAT_NOT!
The last one was the 1970' Kingswood Estate 454 4barrell.
Loved em all!
Fast & Furious!!
Have a great one-GB.!! :-D  :-P
