Another rant about improper packaging!!

My middle daughters Egg arrived today... it turned out to be a mikoni.
when i saw what had been sent i was most annoyed a very rattly courier bag.......
when i unwrapped i was even moreso... one layer of bubblewrap one layer of thin corrugated one layer of brown paper and the flimsy plastic courierbag, the front is now off the box, it has broken some screw posts inside the handle is off and it wont power up.

Middle child is very upset as she has been doing little chores around the house to "earn" the box and has waited around a fortnight for it to be sent.

i have outlined my disappointment to the seller, but seeing as the packing was at fault and didnt do its job properly do you think i would be being fair in asking the seller to cover the return postage? how do we stand with postage charges in a dispute?

Anyway the search is on for another box for middle daughter that she likes......

That's a real hard luck story. It's always tough to hear about radio's showing up damaged but hearing your daughters disappointment is really sad.

I hope it all works out for you and her

It is horror stories like this that keeps me from buying any boomboxes from an unknown seller. Sorry to hear about your daughters heartbreak.
