Just joined up. Had a couple of nice units back in the day when I was break dancing. Saw one for sale, picked it up and the rest is history. I am trying to collect without spending over $20 per unit. Let's see how far that goes.

Welcome aboard, Scotty. I would say you are doing just fine if you got each of those for less than $20. That Aiwa is nice. I don't recall seeing that one before.

Thanks for the warm welcome and info. The tape player works on the Aiwa but the big Pany hums and will need some attention. My sons took ownership of the Toshiba and the small Pany. My oldest son Andreas who inherited my rap genes uses the Toshiba when he sings Gym Class Heroes Stereo Hearts onstage. I even painted a big grafitti background for him. I will post the video. Pretty cool with the "50 pound boom box" and "mad D batteries" lines.

Great clip, thanks for sharing. Got a talent on your hands there. :-D
Thanks. He is just 12 but he really enjoys performiing, so we are going to do our best to give him every opportunity. He loves that boom box. He didn't even want me to take a picture of it for fear I would sell it.

I'm sure he'll go far with your support. In the future I'll be able to tell people, I saw him before he was famous.

:-) :-)
