Another 'Mickey Mouser' Saved From The Dump!

Bought this a couple of years ago cheap, 'Works Perfect' trumpeted the Ebay advert..........It didn't! Down on one channel sadly & it was only cos it was in such a nice condition that saved it!!

February 2018 & another 7080 arrived with broken tape deck as advertised, I thought it was worth £5 as the amp & tuner worked albeit with very dirty switches & pots - hardly an issue though!


We now have a nice little part of early 1980's history fully working & not bad build quality either.........

I love the pure 80's design & lots of silver & chrome, this is never going to light up in the the world of boomboxes - but it can now join the many repaired stereo boomers in my walk in cupboard.......

Lol yeah I have some sanyo 3 inchers out of a scrapper - Might just see if they will fit!

That's a good thing. Before I started on the forum I had a few cassette decks that were questionable as to their operation. As of now they all work really well. Then I went out and started reviving what I could. Now I have a whole slew of cassette decks (working)

I think it looks awesome, those speakers are basically a full-range speaker with high sensitivity design to get the maximum use out of amplifier power they must have knew what they were doing I mean they could have just made it more expensive that would defeat the whole purpose.
