I bought my Panny J800 at a flea market for $5 a few years back, also with no speakers!! I don't know that I've actually seen one of those with it's original speaker, not that they that common anyway. Sooo.....I took a set of more-or-less same size black speakers from a defunct Fisher box and stuck 'em on the sides using those double-sided adhesive pads......it almost looks like the JVC turntable box I've seen from time to time!    Hey, it all works and those speaks ain't coming off!

Hmm. That Silver looks a lot like a Montgomery Wards Airline. Solid little box that weighs a ton for it's size.

I have a party center, but it's totally different -- the tape player is in a different spot

There are several Party Center models. Which one do you have?
This Goldstar Party Center 2400 is the same as the Grundig Party Center 2400.
