ok i guess sometimes thing dont go your way,, on sept the 13 i won a sony 580 for basicly nothing 9.99 , the seller contacted me saying that he would ship it the following tuesday i also asked him fot the tracking num which i never got,, so here i am waiting for the box ,, so i send the guy an email asking what happen as it was already more than a week , so he emails me back and says he sent it on the 17 ,, i wrote back to him and now he says that it was delivered and he has no control of what happens in shipping ,, so i open a case ,, belive me this guy is trying to say that i have the box because he checked and they said it was delivered at my door , now mind you my wife is retierd so basicly she is at home most of the time, the ups driver is the same driver for about a year now and she knows i collect boomboxes so she always puts our stuff on the chair or floor in my porch and up to now i have never had a problem,, so now the seller escalates on his end i guess just to make me look bad and like he said sarcasticly ,, i am sorry that i was not there to see them deliver it too you i have no control of shipping ,, well if he would have sent me the tracking num maybe i would at least had something to fight for .. oh well thanks guys for listening in i needed to vent some hot air build up from my brain

no norm when i asked him what he did was send me a email saying he had checked,, i guess he threw it away but the whole thing was all he had to do was ask them for the num and give it to me but he was trying to be a jerk, so right now i am waiting to see what paypal says..

yes frank i was not really to much worried about the 25.00 dollars it was all the runaround that this guy was giving me just to say that because ups said it was deliverd to my doorstep,, it not in my house.. i had another insedent like that not too long ago but at least the guy went and got the tracking num just to find out it was delivered to zepherhills florida..

well lets see what happens with this , the whole thing is that once in a blue moon something does not get delivered even thou it says its been delivered , i used to work in a warehouse and used to remember a few times that the ups driver dropping off stuff by mistake and luckaly us we would call them to come back and pick it up

I guess I have been lucky, the few times I have purchased a box from ebay it has always showed up. Although I must say if I ran into a seller whom I thought was trying to rip me off I am the type of person who would fly to there address, where ever it is, and knock on the door. I absolutely hate thieves and rip off artists. i work very hard for my money and I'll be damned if someone is gonna take it... ...except the wife... . That is why I happily give my business to the members of this site because it is always pleasant and trouble free!!

well here i am thinking i got a sweet deal and really it was mostly for parts for another one that i have that works good but just neeeded a few parts,, if it would have arrived smashed i did not care because the parts i needed were small stuff oh well i guess wait for another one.. who has a sony 580 parts box :'-( :'-( :'-( :'-( :'-(

You know...... I get so many packages that the delivery people on my block automatically goes to my house first out of habit. I have received sooo many stuff for neighbors dropped off on my porch that belonged to a neighbor it isn't even funny. I aways run down the street and do the delivery, and most of the time, the recipient doesn't even know that it was a neighbor that actually delivered their parcel. I imagine there are a lot of dishonest people out there too that would look at a package and say, wow -- free stuff!

Without POD the seller has nothing. If he can't provide the tracking number then lodge a PayPal claim. You WILL get your money back.

Lesson for those guys sending boxes, always get tracking. If there's an issue, you have some recourse.

Im with Terry 100% POD, proof of delivery, if its been delivered and signed for, there has to be a hard copy somewhere from the carrier/courier.
Worst case, were only taking about a few $$$, but keep an eye out incase it reapeers for sale again.
