Whatever you do, DO NOT trash it.

There are plenty of people here who can help. You need to determine the exact reason why it won't power up - cracked board, loose wire, broken power switch, etc. Then go forward from there. Like hemiguy said, it can be repaired. It will just take some time.

but also you should never power a box if it has sustained damage. You could actually cause more by doing so. Always take apart to check before doing so Good luck with the fix
