Had this box 25 years and the tape deck never worked since. Decided to tackle it today. What a mess and it was no walk in the park to install these belts. Got errr done finally.

Or you could manage to pull a number like I did. Drop a piece on the floor without noticing, step on it...then track the damn thing all throughout the house It's a great way to piss off the wife :annoyed: and spend the next few days cleaning.
At least I was able to try out the newly working tape deck while scrubbing my @ss off :judge:

Oh Gawd! Yeah, anything that stuff touches is ruined. Clothes, carpet, rags YOUR FLESH! I can just imagine the wife (already thrilled at the hours your not paying attention to her) seeing your hobby farking up the house! NOT GOOD!

Windex works great to clean up the belt mess , and oxyi clean spray works great on carpet lol.
