The first time I visited the Dessau meet in Germany I met local artist Maxi Broce. She brought many amazing paintings she created, to sell at the event, (see her paintings and art work here). Since I was flying, there was simply no way for me to return with one. I spent the whole next year trying to figure out how I could some how get one back to Italy. This past August, I returned to Dessau with a ton of questions and I had Boomboxery member mmcodomino (aka Max) translate my questions to her (she only speaks German). It's important to mention that her and her husband attend the Dessau meet every year, but they are NOT on the internet. So the only way to speak with them is there.

I asked Max to ask her if I could commission her to create a painting in her style, anyway she wanted of a Lasonic TRC-920 and if it was possible to have it shipped back to Italy. I asked the price and paid her on the spot. That was back in August. She shipped the painting to Max and he was kind enough to forward it on to me. Below is what arrived. It is a oil painting on canvas.

Needless to say, I am over the moon with this.

I'll tell yeah, this is one of my more prized possessions now. Short of the real radio. Simply amazing, it goes on the wall tomorrow

This is a stunning work of art, looks like a photo from a few feet away and the chrome reflections etc, just amazing.

Rightly proud and one of a kind..
