Hi all,
I have a passion like many of this beautiful forum for boom boxes only, I am increasingly confronted with the fenoneem DAB + digital radio've read about on the Internet that the off / fm not have much longer to go that is to say this is so will disappear and will make place for dab +
My question is should I start worrying me?
I find it beautiful, I want to use my boom boxes as they are meant there noh hope for old radios when the AM / FM is gone?

Thanks in advance!

At the moment there is only Norway who has ditched the analog radio. We have to face it someday for sure but when, maybe in 3-5 years I think - maybe bit more, because a lot of people are not ready for this. But to be honest I'm listening to FM only from my boomboxes and sometimes from car radio. Most of the time I listen mp3s and internet radio stations because I hate commercials.

You know... unless they ban analog. There's probably always going to be something on the radio. Whether it be Homer in is garage with a 10 mile transmitter. Or some local church with its own broadcast setup.

Just like boombox junkies, there's radio host junkies that love broadcasting. It may be few and far between, but I don't see it going away completely. I mean AM radio is still there too. I listen every day during baseball season.
